Will get his hands on first and consistently win the initial battle for ground. Will get off a lone blocker and make single arm tackles. Powerful presence. Very limited athletically. Won’t make plays outside the guards. Lacks any assortment of pass rush moves. One trick pony who tires easily. Needs conditioning work. Plays high too often. Loses awareness and will play in his own scheme at times. Tupou can certainly play the role of dirty work, inside gap controller. He carries a lot of weight and fires off the ball well with heavy hands and sturdy legs. He will always be limited and he could use some conditioning work, but he has a spot in the NFL.
