Ourlads' Profile:

2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about WILL CLAPP: LSU, 6044 311 5.43. Junior entry, team captain, and three-year starter from New Orleans, LA. Clapp is a two-time first-team All-SEC offensive lineman, once at guard and once at center. The leader of the LSU line left a year early after paving the way for two of the nation’s top running backs over the past three seasons. Brings a blend of experience, intelligence, and grit to the table. Has the frame to handle NFL defenders right away with plenty of thickness throughout. Good foot speed off the snap and in space. He can stick with speed and quickness, showing the capability to cut off linebackers with initial angle advantages. His body control and awareness are top notch. Shows little-to-no hesitation when he has to react late. Very hard to fool, as he will easily recognize stunts and complex blitzes without hesitation. He is an asset inside to other interior blockers. The ex-Tiger won’t get a lot of movement on bigger tackles. Needs to play with more edge and power presence, rather than simply just trying to get his hands on. When it comes to strength and drive blocks, his impact isn’t consistent. Clapp can make a difference inside from a mental and athletic standpoint. OSR:30/38. Fourth/fifth round. (A-31 1/4, H-9 5/8, BP-25, 10-1.89).
