His attention to detail, intelligence, and work ethic have helped him deliver on his five-star recruit profile out of high school. Has elite physical tools. His size is second to none, his power comes easy and natural, and the explosion within his blocking can put him in a rare tier of offensive line prospects. His upside is as high as it gets but the constant new-position he dealt with every year may have thrown off some important development. That versatility may help his outlook to some teams but once he is drafted, his true value will come when he settles into a position. He can eventually be one of the best linemen in the game. Elite size and natural power combined with a developing set of tools that puts him in a rarely-breached tier of ability. Carries enormous weight with ease that is well distributed throughout his frame. Grade-A thickness below the waist that not only produces strength, but also functional explosion and power. An absolute boulder that could stop an oncoming locomotive. Pairs the tree-type anchor with a just-as-impressive lockout game. Extends those arms and controls his man with what appears to be minimal effort. Maintains his ground, can screw himself into the ground. Slides his way up the edge naturally. Speed and quickness show up in the running game. Seamlessly pulls out in space and will lead block with quality body control. A weapon in the running game with how consistently he can move the line of scrimmage. Shows good anticipation of angles and the games defensive fronts play. Won’t evade his area, seamlessly picks up stunts and twists. A smart, heady player combined with elite tools. He did struggle with consistency throughout his career, as he showed low body awareness in several situations. Often oversets, leading to balance and control issues. Defenders were able to shake him off too many times. Overextends himself and is too-often found falling toward the ground. Needs to show more physical awareness and control. Will lose the width of his base, creating the platform for defenders to move laterally with ease. Too many negative plays where his numbers face the turf. Needs more consistency with his knee bend and control of momentum, especially at his size.
