Three-year starter. All-America and first-team All-SEC in 2023. Foster is a big, physical, and experienced tackle who will be able to handle the power presence of NFL linemen right away. His run blocking will be effective early on, as he can displace defenders with the initial strike, and he plays hungry. How effective he can be will come down to how much he can improve lower body techniques and hand placement. For a guy that has played as much as him, his progression there should be further along than it currently stands. The traits should not be overlooked, however, as he simply does not have a lot of losses on tape and he shows the awareness of both himself and angles to get the job done as a backup-caliber prospect. NFL power-body with well distributed mass throughout entire frame that can produce heavy contact. Just under 3,000 career snaps, almost all of which were at left tackle in the SEC. Improved pass protection metrics three straight years. Wins with his strong mitts and ability to stop a bull rusher dead in his tracks. Hard guy to get through or off his point. Has enough athletic ability to shoot out of his stance. Will reach his points when he anticipates the snap well. Has too many plays with sluggish, delayed movement. Needs to play with more consistent urgency. Hands are all over the place and it leads to penalties (led SEC tackles with ten in 2023). Will struggle to adjust his frame laterally with proper knee bend. Lack of fluidity below the waist causes head dips and folding at the waist, minimizing his natural strength.
