Ourlads' Profile:
2016 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about TYRONE HOLMES: Montana, 6024 253 4.58. Three-year starter from Eagle Point, OR. Consensus FCS All-America and the STAT FCS National Defensive Player of the Year. Quick and explosive at the snap. Plays at a good pad level and can consistently bend and squeeze to the quarterback. Shows good agility for his size and can track moving up field. Plays the edge run well doing a good job changing directions defending the read option. As a linebacker convert he will have to develop coverage skills. Was an edge and gap player with little opportunity to see how he holds the point of attack. Does not demonstrate a lot of skill in this area due to how he was used at Montana. Good convert to outside linebacker prospect due to demonstrated agility and size. Outstanding pass rush skills gives him a shot as a situational edge rusher. East-West Shrine notes: Sudden first step creates havoc for the tackles. Quick enough to cross the tackle’s face and power his way into the backfield. A high motor athlete with good range and a relentless pursuit effort. Needs to develop coverage skills. Can improve his pass rush variety. Pro day numbers: 37.5/VJ, 9-5/BJ, 7.00/3 cone. 2015 stats: 87 T, 24 TFL, 18 sacks, 9 QBH, 3 FF. Not invited to Combine. Fifth/sixth round. (A-32, H-9 5/8, BP-28, SS-4.29).
