2024 NFL Prospect Rankings: Wide Receivers

Ohio State

Projected Round: 1

Son of former great NFL receiver of the same name. Harrison is tall, long and lean and poses a threat lining up outside or inside. Outstanding route runner who's fluid in and out of his breaks and threatens defensive backs with long strides and outstanding deep speed. Excellent route runner who is adept at double moves. Has excellent body control and catch radius to consistently make the difficult catch.

LSU

Projected Round: 1

Three-year starter. Versatile alignment, has nearly split his snaps between the slot and outside. A menace after the catch. Low center of gravity, toughness, and contact balance add up to many forced missed tackles and yards after the catch. Plays a powerful game. Sudden burst will show up off the line and immediately upon getting the ball in his hands. Improved ball skills on both the simple and difficult targets. Can locate the ball through traffic and outmuscle his opponent. Tracks the ball over his shoulder with full control and steady eyes. Will telegraph routes, hindering separation potential which is already an issue because of tightness at times.

Washington

Projected Round: 1

Odunze has everything you look for in a receiver. Excellent size to go with track star speed. He shows excellent hands and body control to make the tough catch. Normally a precise route runner he can accelerate out of a break creating immediate separation. Needs to improve against press coverage and continue to develop as a route runner through the entire tree.

Projected Round: 1

The tall, long, and flexible downfield target led FBS with 17 touchdowns, scoring in 10 of 13 games. He is the kind of playmaker who looks overly inviting to a passer. Tracks the deep ball with precision and control, he can go up and get it, and he shows excellent coordination near the boundary. There are some edges to the skill set that need more refining, but in a league of scoring and explosive plays, he can be a true number one.

Georgia

Projected Round: 1-2

McConkey is a slightly built, but quick-footed receiver who creates more than the sum of his parts. He is a refined route runner with a sense of intelligence that is hard to find. Shows a strong understanding of what defenses are trying to do both pre-and post-catch. The amount he can create via doing precisely what he needs to do and then some more via innovation will be a welcomed addition to an offense that has primary weapons already in place.
