Ourlads' Profile:

2017 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about D'ONTA FOREMAN: Texas, 6000 233 4.46. Junior entry. One year as a fulltime starter. Played in 28 total games over his three year career. From Texas City, TX. A tackle-to-tackle runner who reaches his top speed quickly once through the line of scrimmage. Can outrun defensive backs in space. A north/south power runner with good lower body flexibility. Loves the downhill power G-scheme. Basically a straight ahead runner who needs to develop his blocking and pass catching skill set. Needs more body control as a receiver. Foreman’s skill set is developing. Appears to lack aggression and passion when running with the ball. Generally gets what’s blocked. Lacks the patience to set up his blockers. Nonfactor as a receiver. Needs to improve as a pass and run blocker. The 2016 Longhorn offense had a very small amount of role diversity for running backs. After leading the nation in rushing yards per game he took home the Doak Walker Award. The All-America has a rare blend of size and speed that teams will love to use between the tackles. His burst and ability to run away from defenders in space within that frame just screams upside. Foreman isn’t nearly as physical as his frame would suggest and he is very one dimensional. However with just 10 career starts and just half, if not less, the career touches as most other prospects, one has to think the ceiling here is as high as any back in the class. Pro day numbers: 33/VJ, 10/ BJ, 7.21/3 cone. 2016 stats: 2028 yds, 6.3 ypc, 15 TD, 7 rec, 75 yds, 10.7 ypr, 0 TD. Medical exclusion at Combine, left foot. Fourth/ fifth round. (A-31 3/8, H-10 1/8, BP-18, SS-4.26).
