Junior entry, three-year starter, Park Ridge, IL. First team All America and three-time All Big 10, first team in both 2022 and 2021. Grandson of former Green Bay tackle Bob Skoronski. A technique-savvy tackle with near-perfect hands and feet. He can speed up his footwork on the fly while maintaining his body control, balance, and hand placement. Looks like a player on repeat snap to snap. The dependability and scheme-versatility he brings will be sought after by nearly every team. There are credible questions surrounding his lack of length, but he has more than enough high-quality tape to prove he can handle life on the outside. There are teams with a need inside at guard that can still draft him high and get a Zack Martin-type player. Easy movement traits in all directions. Excellent footwork post snap with plus-flexion in both his knees and ankles. Shows sharp change of direction when reacting to the defender. Fluid up the edge. Couples the advanced footwork with strong, sturdy, accurate hands. Shows the ability to punch and mirror against quality pass rushers while keeping the hands inside. Can re-adjust naturally. Recovers exceptionally well. Shows urgency in replacing his hands and feet. Stays active and light. Excels in space and can peel off the line to the second level with full control and balance. Good initial contact on the move, shows scheme-versatility. Length measures less than average for the outside. Does not have the wide radius or overall reach to constantly keep defenders away from positional wins. Will need to improve his anchor to make up for that shortcoming. Too often walked back multiple steps by the bull rush. Needs more explosion and initial violence. No matter where Skoronski ends up, he is going to be a long-time quality blocker who enhances a team’s ability to control the point of attack.
