Ourlads' Profile:
2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about TRE` MCKITTY: Georgia, 6041 247 4.80. Two-and-a-half year starter, Wesley Chapel, FL. Spent three years at Florida State prior to transferring to Georgia. Split starting duties in his lone season with the Bulldogs. McKitty is a plus short-area athlete who can translate his speed into power. An effective space-blocker that can be moved around pre-snap. A comfortable pass catcher, one that can get to balls away from his body naturally. Plays a pro’s game that can be used on every down with the upside of being a solid number two tight end at the next level. Excellent quickness and agility that show up both as a blocker and receiver. Gets off the ball in a hurry, traveling to where he needs to with precision and body control. Shows very good balance when approaching defenders in space. Can make an impact as a second level blocker. Also used a lot on wham blocks where he constantly gets his head across the defensive lineman with his hands on. Will make one-handed grabs away from his body look easy. Reliable pass catcher whether he is in space or traffic. Aggressive and feisty after the catch. Will need to enhance his strength and power. Doesn’t play stout when blocking in line, doesn’t sustain his positioning. Needs better blocking mechanics. Not a long strider that will get over the top as a route runner. Can be covered by an athletic linebacker. Lacks the size and physical presence to dominate safeties in the passing game. 2020 stats: 6-108, 18.0 ypr, 1 TD. Fifth/sixth round. (A-32 1/2, H-11, VJ-NA, SS-NA).
