Controls and gets off blocks with consistent knee bend. Tackles well in space with adjustments to cutbacks and ability to drive through a tackle. Has a sense of urgency in pursuit with range to chase across the field. Shows awareness in underneath zones. Flashes a quick break on the ball and makes big hits limiting yards after contact. Shows match-up skill versus a tight end but had limited exposure in man-to-man. Was given opportunities at the Senior Bowl and showed he can stay in phase up the field and be physical. Route breaks can give him trouble. Can be undisciplined and overaggressive. Has been a solid contributor on special teams with kick coverage ability.
