Ourlads' Profile:
2015 Guide: What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about DJ HUMPHRIES: Florida, 6050 307 5.09. Junior entry. Two-year starter from Union, NC. Suffered a serious knee injury in 2013 and missed two games in 2014. Former elite high school recruit who never lived up to the expectations. Humphries still has a high ceiling because of his length and ability to move. He can generate a lot of power from his upper body and shows that he can move in space. He will need time to adapt to the quickness of the league and add weight, but he has starter potential down the road. Fast and sudden with a long, slender frame capable of putting on more bulk. Consistent motor and effort. Very active and always on the lookout for extra defenders to pick off. Strong hands, can stop a defender in his tracks and control engagement. Easy knee bender. Can kick slide his way to the edge with the balance and power to block power and speed rushers. Lean body type that needs to add good bulk weight. Late out of his stance and will force himself into playing a lot of catch up. Inconsistent footwork from a mechanical point of view. Does not always play up to his athletic ability. OSR:12/41. Second/third round. (A-33 5/8, H-10, BP-26, 10-1.78).
