Ourlads' Profile:
2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about JK DOBBINS: Ohio State, 5094 209 4.46. Junior entry, three-year starter, La Grange, Texas. Led the Buckeyes in rushing all three years including 2,000 yard, second-team All- America season in 2019. Has been a hit on campus from the start and left Ohio State as their second all-time leading rusher. Has the ideal body type and running style of an every-down back in the NFL with a diverse skill set and team-mentality. Puts forth top tier effort into every role running the ball, catching passes, or blocking. Tough and hardnosed on inside runs that will lower his pad level and push piles forward. Protects the ball well through traffic. Bulldozer mentality when things get crowded. Has the breakaway speed. Will plant his foot and run away from defenders in space. A big play back. Advanced receiver who can get to balls away from his body, will make the one-handed catch on the move. Willing and more than able blocker. Delivers a violent first blow and re-anchors himself with quality footwork and active hands. Has a nose for the end zone, finds creases and will explode through them. Has some lack of wiggle below the waist. Gets a little tight and won’t miss contact in traffic. Sets up defenders and cuts off blocks. Vision can be questioned. Doesn’t seem to see everything as he approaches the line, more notably on outside runs. Too much hesitation, needs to be more decisive. Has had a lot of touches over the past three years. 2019 stats: 2003 yds, 6.7 ypc, 21 TD, 23 rec, 247 yds, 10.7 ypr, 2 TD. No Combine workout-his choice. First/second round. (A-29 3/4, H-9 1/2, BP-23, SS-DNP).
