Uses his hands to stun blocks on the move and can take on linemen working to the second level. Consistently makes tackles with gather and finish. Can make plays in space. Shows blitz skill with good anticipation at the snap getting into an inside gap. Has a short area burst to close in the backfield. Flashes solid zone coverage. Gets depth in his drop and a read on route combinations. Sees the threats and quarterback. Breaks on the ball finding the throwing lane. Productive breaking up passes. He is somewhat vulnerable to low blocks as he will lose knee bend at times. Can be over aggressive and occasionally under or overruns the ball losing leverage.
