Ourlads' Profile:
What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about SALVON AHMED: Washington, 5107 197 4.65. Junior entry, one-year starter, Kirkland, WA. Was a part of the running back rotation from the start of his career. Two-time honorable mention All Pac 12 honoree. Ahmed is a quick burst back who, when timed and blocked correctly, puts a lot of pressure on a defense. Has flashed where he looks like a very dangerous back, but he never quite stays on that level for an extended period of time. Lacks size and natural power but also struggles to see the whole field with the ball in his hands. Reaches his top speed in a hurry, will put pressure on a defense and force them to react. Can cut while moving at full speed. Shows late and subtle movement when approaching tacklers. Makes defenders miss with a full twitch, full speed approach. Will run low to the ground, both shifty and slippery. Runs away from defenders in space, plays faster than he times. Needs to continue to add bulk to his frame. Struggles to locate the correct running lanes. Won’t be innovative enough when the original plan is clogged. Doesn’t make an impact as a blocker. Quicker than fast. Not a natural pass catcher. 2019 stats: 1020 yds, 5.4 ypc, 11 TD, 16 rec, 84 yds, 5.3 ypr. OSR:24/33. Seventh round/PFA. (A-29 1/4, H-8 3/4, BP-DNP, SS-DNP).
