Takes precise angles to the ball and is a fundamentally sound square up tackler. Gathers and finishes tackles making a big hit separating a runner from the ball. Dropping down in the box he shows some linebacker-like instincts locating the ball and filling gaps. In the deep zones has eye discipline to balances receivers and see the quarterback delivery key. Quick to flip open his hips getting over the top in single high and two deep zones. Closes voids in zones creating small windows for quarterbacks to throw in. Has a remarkable burst to break on the ball in the air. Has playmaking skill with quick hands to the catch point. Shows match up skill versus a tight end and slot with the speed to stay with verticals and mirror route breaks. Has some experience lining up as a slot corner which adds to his versatility.
