Ourlads' Profile:
2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about BENJAMIN ST-JUSTE: Minnesota, 6033 200 4.55. Two year starter, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Transferred from Michigan in 2018 after receiving some special team playing time as a freshman. Tall corner with good overall length. Usually played the field corner. He is fundamentally sound in a variety of technique playing mostly man to man and Cover 3. Used a press, press and bail along with a traditional pedal. Low deliberate pedal he changes speeds well to maintain cushion. Adept at timing turn and run he often uses an off-hand jam on an outside release. Will also press and bail to get to the deep outside with a smooth lateral run. Generally stays in phase on vertical routes. If behind, his size is worth a step in recovery mode. Tough to throw over. As an off corner gets a good read on the delivery key allowing him to make plays at the catch point on the plant and drive. Strong at the catch point, has used his long arms to break up passes. Can be physical battling receivers for the ball. Shows willingness in run support and can separate and shed stalk blocks. Makes tackles in space using his long tackle radius to wrap up. At times drives through tackles. Plant and drive can be segmented with an extra step. Not the most twitchy athlete as he has some trouble with double moves from shifty receivers. St-Juste has traits teams look for in a big corner. Had a good Senior Bowl week to up his stock. Got some experience at nickel which can add to his value. 2020 stats: 14 T, 3 PBU. Third/fourth round. (A-32, H-9 1/4, VJ-34.5, SS-4.01).
