Two-time first-team All-Big 10 honoree and a 2021 second-team All-America. He is the kind of dynamic and explosive playmaker who is a threat to score each time he steps on the field. The size and speed are both good enough but neither are stand out traits. What makes him different is the elite body control and special awareness. He can twist and turn late in ways that most others simply cannot. The game slows down for him when defenders are near and the second he makes his move those defenders are often found wondering what just happened. He can project to both the outside and the slot depending on the offense. Expect him to make plays right away and ascend to one of the more dangerous threats in the league at the position. Dynamic playmaker who can move his body in rare ways. Tremendous lower body shake and looseness. Can bend, turn, and twist below the waist with ease while moving at his top rate of speed. Easy adjustments with late reactions to the defense after they give up their intentions. Elite body control whether he is attacking the ball or evading tacklers. Makes sharp cuts and can burst out of his breaks at an elite level. Will make the spectacular catch with a defender draped all over him. Can slow the game down while keeping himself in fast forward. Shows an elite route running skill set across the entire tree. Equally effective lining up in the slot or on the outside. Will show some wasted motion at times when running the route tree. Needs to be a quicker decision maker. Too many concentration drops. Will make his post-catch moves before he has the ball. Lacks a power presence in physically contested situations. Plays light. Needs more lower body stability. Aggression and physical nature leaves some to be desired.
