Ourlads' Profile:

2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about ISAIAH SPILLER:

Texas A&M, 6003 217 4.55. Junior entry, three-year starter, Spring, TX. Earned All-SEC honors in both 2021 and 2020, first team in 2020. He is a jack of all trades, master of none type back. Can be a fit in any role out of the backfield with his blend of size and athleticism. Proved over his three-year career in the SEC that his blend of tools and knack for coming up with the big play in big moments will create a skill set that a team can work with. While there is a limit to his upside, he feels safe and secure when projecting his floor. Would be an ideal number two back. A do-it-all back who can factor on every down in any situation. Runs big when he needs to and shows elusiveness on all occasions. Can shake his way free from traffic but knows when to run behind his pads with force and determination. Gets his feet off the ground in a hurry and will get through the trash. Accurate, explosive cuts that will get him playing faster than he times. Shows poise in clutch situations. Changes his gears and urgency when needed. Excellent hands that sees the ball in on the move and immediately evades tacklers after the catch. Will get hesitant and choppy when the lane is there. Questionable vision and confidence. Needs better ball security habits, as there is too much space between his body and the ball when he gets through the first level of the defense. A one-strike blocker that doesn’t latch his hands on.

2021 stats: 1011 yds, 5.7 ypc, 6 TD, 25 rec, 189 yds, 7.6 ypr, 1 TD. Second/third round. (A-31 3/4, H-8 5/8, BP-DNP, SS-4.27).
