Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about KINGSLEY ENAGBARE:
South Carolina, 6036 258 4.87. Two-year starter, Atlanta, GA. First-team All-SEC in 2020. Has the ideal physical attributes of an NFL rush linebacker in a 3-4. High motor player he keeps coming, showing outstanding second effort with a lot of his plays coming as a result. Primarily used to set the edge and rush the passer he demonstrates solid skill in all areas. Strong upper body he can hold the point with a powerful strike with his hands to separate and shed. He can come off a block and make a tackle. Shows pop when he tackles and can drop a ball carrier in his tracks. He has some range and makes plays in space. Has some limited reps dropping in coverage and has shown ability to play the flat. As a pass rusher he shows functional speed and can get around the corner. With his strength, he can bull rush into a move. Lacks the elite first step and relentless effort may not be enough against NFL tackles. In his zeal to make a play he occasionally gets out of control and gives up a play. Many of his sacks as a junior could be attributed to a combination of second effort and solid coverage in the secondary. He didn’t duplicate the 2020 production in 2021 and has us questioning whether a move to a five or even three technique is in order. His heavy hands and strength may be better suited inside in the long run. He will need to develop pass rush moves as his arsenal is limited. Teams will love his work ethic and motor and this makes him a prospect worth developing whatever position he works at.
