Ourlads' Profile:
2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about BRADLEE ANAE: Utah, 6033 257 4.93. Three-year starter, Laie, HI. Won the 2019 Morris Trophy Award, given to the Pac 12’s top defensive lineman. Two time first-team All Pac 12 and 2019 All America. His production, competitive style of play, and strong week at the Senior Bowl create a lot of arrows toward him being a quality NFL starter. However there are a lot of warts on tape that center around his overall athletic ability and upside. He has tight hips, doesn’t play a good arm extension game, and won’t beat many tackles up the edge. Projects to be a rotational third down player that can be trusted to make things happen on occasion, but not consistently. Strong upper body with fast hands and quick feet. Aggressive with a switch that is always turned all the way up. Makes a lot of hustle plays away from the point of attack. Effective at breaking the attachment between himself and a blocker’s hands. Violent downward swipes as he moves laterally can set him up to sneak by. Will fit through small windows, making himself small and slippery. Very ball-aware, takes swipes if he knows he can’t get to the passer. Plays with an attitude, will bring some swagger to a defense. Lacks ideal size and speed. Falls a little short when it comes to the height and length combination. Tight hips and fringe acceleration in space. Gets exposed when he is in pursuit of the ball carrier. May not have the staying power to take on power blocking straight head. Doesn’t win against the double team. 2019 stats: 41 T, 14 TFL, 13 sacks, 1 PBU, 1 FF. Edge speed:left 2.22, right 2.50. OSR:17/25. Third/fourth round. (A-32 1/8, H-10 1/8, BP-25, 10-1.71).
