Ourlads' Profile:

2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about KADARIUS TONEY: Florida, 5111 189 4.38. One-year starter, Mobile, AL. Was a key part of the offense all four years. First-team All SEC in 2020. He saved his best for last as a senior. Broke out in a big way and finally translated potential into real production. Did more in 2020 than his three previous seasons combined, partially because of the amount of talent the Gators had ahead of him on depth chart before this past fall. Has joystick quickness and change of direction whether he is running routes or carrying the ball. He is the kind of guy that can miss contact in the phone booth and will always fight for more yards. Plays bigger and tougher than his frame suggests. It will be hard to find a more competitive spark plug than him. There are concerns around character and durability and he needs a specific role. The right offensive mind can make him a dangerous weapon though, one that can really elevate an offense as a whole. Seems to have it out for his opponent week in, week out. Plays with tremendous quickness and burst. Shows a different gear in small spaces when it comes to putting his foot in the ground and changing direction. Hard guy to touch, let alone grab a hold of and bring down. A gadget player who can be used in a variety of ways. Had 120 catches, 66 rushing attempts, and 28 returns over his career. Will break tackles almost every time he gets his hands on the ball. Contact balance is top-shelf. Can take a hit, recoil, and move on as if never happened. Can make tacklers miss in a phone booth. Has a different level of toughness and grit. Still raw as a route runner. Needs to be kept in the slot and/or backfield. A short area route runner that relies on the agility and quickness more than a skill set and proper techniques. Long speed can be caught from behind. Immature on and off the field. Needs to handle his emotions better and know how to use them for an advantage. Has suffered multiple injuries over his entire career, causing missed games/ action. Plays a style that his body type may not support. Inconsistent hand catcher. 2020 stats: 70-984, 14.1 ypr, 10 TD, 11-139 PR, 12.6 avg, 1 TD, 7-155 KOR, 22.1 avg. Second/third round. (A-30 1/ 2, H-9 1/2, VJ-39.5, SS-4.23).
