Ourlads' Profile:
2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about BRANDON FACYSON: Virginia Tech, 6014 203 4.56. Four-year starter from Newnan, GA who wants to go to medical school. Good size for the position. At his best in press coverage as he is physical with an off-hand jam and can lock a receiver out on the sideline. Has experience in a wide variety of techniques within some basic coverages. He plays press man, off-man and zone and some hard corner. Does a nice job in anything close to the line as he uses his length to disrupt receiver’s routes. He shows some inconsistency in transition at times. Can get separated on a double move. Has improved his transitions in 2017 and has shown more of a burst on his break and drive. Normally shows good eye discipline in man cover and uses his length to get to the catch point with the ball in the air. When in phase does not always find the ball well and has given up some catches when in good position. Shows the playing speed to stay in phase with most receivers. He is a willing tackler in run support. Has the size teams look for as the big corner to match up to a physical receiver. East-West Shrine notes: Had a good week of practice and a solid game. Shows very good footwork with a smooth pedal and quick feet in press coverage. Good ball skills. 2017 stats: 19 T, 2 TFL, 5 PBU. BTR:left 4.67, right 4.95. OSR:23/41. Fourth/fifth round. (A-32 5/8, H-9 3/4, VJ-DNP, SS-DNP).
