Ourlads' Profile:

2019 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about MILES SANDERS: Penn State, 5105 211 4.50. Junior entry and one year starter from Pittsburgh, PA. Former top high school recruit got stuck behind Saquon Barkley for two years. In his lone season as the guy, Sanders responded with a second-team All Big 10 performance and replicated a version of Barkley at times. With excellent vision and versatility, he can be a weapon in any role. The underrated power runner can consistently fall forward as well as break through initial contact to create on his own. His ability as a receiver far outweighs his impact as a blocker and he can be a weapon within a committee approach right away. Lacking star power, Sanders is a sure bet to be a contributor for awhile. A do it all back that comfortably holds weight. Compact frame that can run with a few different styles based on game situations. Sturdy base that creates contact balance. Can lower his pad level as he approaches the defender and can bounce in any direction or fall forward consistently. Can put his head down and push the pile. Excellent vision, can really see angles and windows. Comfortable pass catcher that will run routes like a receiver and will see the ball in. A smart, high-IQ player on all downs in all situations. Struggles to consistently reach the edge on outside runs, lacks that extra gear. Gets a little too dance happy. Always wants to hit the homerun but won’t take the singles and doubles often enough. Ends up on the ground a lot as a blocker whether it be an inaccurate lunge for the defender or a lack of staying power. Needs to protect the ball better. 2018 stats: 1274 yds, 5.8 ypc, 9 TD, 24 rec, 139 yds, 5.8 ypr, 0 TD. OSR:2/24. Second/third round. (A-30 5/8, H-9 1/4, BP-20, SS-4.20).
