Ourlads' Profile:
2017 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about MACK HOLLINS: North Carolina, 6040 221 4.51. Three-year injury-riddled starter from Rockville, MD. Led the country in yards per catch in 2015, averaging 24.8 yards in his 30 receptions. Was named to the third-team All-ACC in 2015 and honorable mention in 2014. Good size and frame to play outside receiver. Long arms, strong hands, and huge catch radius. Hands catcher who will pluck the ball out of the air. Eats up defensive back’s cushion with his long strides off of the line. Has good long efficient smooth strides in the open field. Has enough top end speed in combination with his size to stress defenses vertically. Will use his hands at the line of scrimmage in releases. Solid competitor. Has skills to compete on special teams. Was special teams captain in 2013. Somewhat stiff in his hips. Average route strength given his frame. Not very effective or efficient running underneath routes at this point due to stiff feet and his long legs. Didn’t produce great numbers due to lack of field time which was mostly related to being injured. He pulled his hamstring at the Combine adding to already existing concern about his health and durability. A definite outside receiver talent that if healthy has solid upside and potential for whoever is willing to take the risk on his health. Won the Combine wide receiver wing span derby with an expanse of 80 3/8". 2016 stats: 16-309, 19.3 ypr, 4 TD. OSR:15/61. Sixth/seventh round. (A- 33 1/4, H-9 3/4, VJ-DNP, SS-DNP).
