Four-year starter, Arlington, TX. Second-team All-Big 12 selection this past season. He is able to accelerate quickly once he gets in space. His ideal role in the NFL is as a big receiver who is a quality short/intermediate target. Catches the ball inside and outside his strike zone using great length, and shows the ability to turn around his frame and make back shoulder catches. He shows toughness when fighting for yards after contact, and will continue to run his feet on contact. Displays foot quickness and agility when climbing levels. Quick to engage with second level defenders with violence, and can stand his ground. Shows a good base and proper technique in pass protection. His small frame and adequate strength make it difficult for him to block defenders at the first level. His lack of strength severely hinders his ability as a blocker, especially in his lower body as he will get uprooted by linebackers and nickels and thrown off his feet. Needs to work on landing his hand in a better location, as he often lets defenders get their hands inside. Slow release off the line-of-scrimmage. Lacks foot speed to win as a vertical threat. He is not an electric play-maker with the ball in his hands due to his lack of athletic ability.
2022 Stats: 39-514, 13.2 ypr, 7 TD. 6th/7th round.
