Three-year starter, Deming, WA. Three-time All-Pac 12 including first team honors in both 2021 and 2022. Spent two seasons at Butte College prior to transferring to Oregon. Wide base with well-distributed thickness in his thighs and hips. He spent the majority of career at left tackle but will be moved inside at the next level. Does not have the length or body type to stay on the outside. What he does have, however, is high football-IQ and repeatable techniques. He is experienced and tough with a good base to support the anchor against power. Wide base with well-distributed thickness in his thighs and hips. Squatty frame furthers his ability to play low and strong. Stays square to his target with proper hand placement. Can latch and stay attached. Peels off to the second level assertively with control. Creates violent contact and can drive block. There are multiple physical shortcomings in his arsenal, and they will cap the ceiling. The future for him will likely reside in an area reserved for the final backup on an active gameday roster. Lacks the reach to win lockout battles. Will get stood up and lose the positional game. Feet have a hard time moving laterally. Questionable ability to cut off a quick upfield rusher. Secondary battles and re-adjustments look lethargic and heavy. He is a thick-bodied power blocker who plays strong and hard but simply cannot move well enough to be an every down positive factor.
