Ourlads' Profile:
2010 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about AL WOODS: LSU, 6035 309 5.21. Started 17 games. Plays in a rotation. Questionable instincts. Ultra long arms and catchers’ mitts for hands. Good athletic ability. Flashes lateral quickness to make plays parallel to the line of scrimmage. His senior year was his best, but is still not a “sack” master. Has the tools to play a 3-4 end or even a nose tackle. Has not played to his athletic numbers in his career. The defensive line rotation has caused him valuable repetitions to improve his game. Self motivation and the ability to play with nicks are a concern. Talented enough to play on Sunday. Will get over-drafted because of his measurables, but if the light comes on, the team that drafts him will have a “live” one on their hands. Career tackles of 63 with 8 tackles for loss and 3 1/2 sacks. Had a 37 inch vertical jump. Edge speed:left 2.04, right 2.22. OSR:8/20. Fourth/fifth round. (A-36, H-11, BP-23, 10-1.82).
