Ourlads' Profile:
2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about TRE FLOWERS: Oklahoma State, 6032 202 4.46. Three-and-a-half year starter from Converse, TX. Tall rangy prospect with length. Uses his long arms to break up passes and wrap up tackle. Instinctive. Good initial read and react. Has a quick first step to support the run. Adjusts well moving downhill. Remarkable range in pursuit with good angles to the ball. Solid tackling ability moving forward and in space. Can be physical, shows some take-on ability with long arms to separate. Understands route concepts and reacts well to multiple receivers in deep and short zones. Tough to throw over. Playing speed and range to the ball is outstanding. Quick reacting on the throw. If out of position shows good recovery ability. Slender frame will be a problem for some teams. Some hesitation reacting on intermediate routes. This puts him in recovery mode. Will need to add strength to play in the box in the NFL. Plays upright on blocks at times and can get bounced around by a physical tight end. Some hip tightness which shows up at times in match-up and reacting to intermediate dig and post cuts. Lack of power causes him to hang on at times, giving up yards after contact. On special teams has shown kick block and coverage team skill. Overall is an outstanding effort player with speed and coverage ability in the deep zones. A developmental player with good upside. 2017 stats: 79 T, 1 TFL, 8 PBU, 1 FF, 2 INT. BTR:left 4.89, right 5.15. OSR:8/21. Fourth/fifth round. (A-33 7/8, H-9, VJ-34.5, SS-4.34).
