Ourlads' Profile:
2015 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about MAX GARCIA: Florida, 6041 309 5.30. Three-year starter, two at Florida and one at Maryland. From Norcross, GA. A team captain who is physical and crafty in his play. Has good hand placement inside a defender’s frame and good body control. Scouts were impressed at the Senior Bowl with his one-on-one blocking against Danny Shelton, Washington’s athletic nose tackle. Has enough athletic and position skill level to upgrade an NFL ball club’s quality of depth. A five-for-one position athlete who has experience at center, guard, and tackle positions. Demonstrates good inline playing quickness and gets a hat on the down defenders. Does a good job at getting movement on combination blocks with the offensive guards. Shows adequate foot mobility and athletic agility to get to the second level and reach a flow linebacker. Plays in a bent knee athletic position in pass protection. Has some good length and girth to anchor a bull rush. Plays with big, strong, heavy hands. Needs to improve his lateral and change of direction quickness to be a consistent NFL pass protector. Medical exclusion at Combine, left shoulder. Sixth/ seventh round. (A-33 1/8, H-10 1/4, BP-DNP, 10-DNP).
