Four-year starter, Mansfield, TX. Two-time All-Big 12 as a receiver and a first team All-Big 12 honoree as a kick returner in 2021. Has been a focal point of the Kansas State program for a long time in a variety of ways. He wore multiple hats and made plays in multiple ways. Over the course of his career he scored 14 touchdowns as a receiver, four as a rusher, and three as a kick returner. The breakaway speed and size combination will make him a threat in the open field and his lower body traits give legs to the idea he still has plenty of obtainable margin to gain as an every down player. He is a bit of a project, but one with a high ceiling. Impressive triangle numbers (height, weight, speed) that are all functional and a part of his success. Lengthens separation on vertical routes. Can maintain his rate of speed on crossers. A weapon in the deep portion of the route tree. Evades tacklers after the catch via vision, toughness, and elusive hips. Reliable, strong hands. Can be a feature returner right away. Quickness as a route runner does not match his raw athleticism. Gets held up at the point of attack. Has long stretches where his impact is never felt. Consistency is not there. Has the tools and versatility to impact a team if a coach can work with him to clean up the route running and feel for better tempo.
2022 Stats: 48-725, 15.1 ypr, 2 TD, 164 yds rushing, 3 TD, 23-592 KOR, 25.7 avg. 5th/6th round.
