A big-time power presence inside that can hold the point of attack, controlling two gaps with his use of leverage and ability to attach himself to the ground. His craftiness and surprisingly nimble feet in traffic get him to the action often against the run. The pure athleticism in space and as a pass rusher will need to be hidden, but the impact can be there as a two-gap run defender. His best fit will reside in a 3-4 scheme over the center. Upper body full of girth and power. Easy bender below the waist that nearly always wins the leverage battle. Effective with his hands immediately post snap. Gets on the blocker in a hurry, somewhat negating his reach problem. Feisty and competitive. Makes life hard for lone and double blockers, annoying to block. High success rate as a pure bull rusher. Shortens the pocket and shows the ability to disengage at the right moment. Surprisingly nimble in small spaces. Will constantly fight his lack of length. Needs to be perfect for it not to show up.
