Ourlads' Profile:

2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about WYATT DAVIS: Ohio State, 6035 315 5.25. Junior entry, two-plus year starter, Bellflower, CA. Earned second-team All Big 10 in 2019 before earning first-team All America honors in addition to All Big 10 in 2020. Also won the Rimington- Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year Award, given to the conference’s top lineman. An easy prospect to be attracted to. A mauler inside with ideal size across the board. Big and thick with long arms. Has straight line burst and explosion. He plays hard and works to be the Alpha on the field. Has tools but he plays a polarizing style. His consistency is maddening at times. Really struggles to get across a defender’s face when moving laterally. He overreaches but doesn’t always adjust his footwork. The lack of balance and adjustment speed is going to hurt him in pass protection early on. Can be a solid starter if he cleans those issues up. There are also knee issues that need to be investigated. Has the mentality and look of an angus bull. Naturally thick and athletic with a wide frame, long arms, and powerful hands. Has an anchor that screws into the ground like a tree. Excellent power presence that shows up against the bull rush and as a downhill blocker. Will factor in the running game right away. Gets a strong initial push, creating a new point of attack. Has the speed and quickness to peel off the line and reach the second level in a hurry. Maintains a wide base and shows easy knee bend. Solid leverage fighter who works to get under the pads while maintaining active feet. Second/third round. (A-33 7/8, H-9 1/8, BP-25, 10-1.71).
