Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about TYLER VRABEL:
Boston College, 6056 307 5.25. Junior entry, three-year starter, Bellaire, TX. Earned Honorable Mention All-ACC honors all three years. The son of Tennessee Titans’ Head Coach Mike. The level of grit and hustle stand out when watching Tyler, just like the case with his father. The skill set has a long way to go before he can match up against NFL defenders. He shows poor balance and body control, often showing his numbers to the ground unable to sustain quality contact. There are glimpses of quality play when watching his feet and hands, thus there are tools to work with. It will take time before he can even be counted on as a backup. Long and athletic frame that should be able to hold more muscle mass in time. Excellent post-snap footwork from both a quickness and technique perspective. Gets them active with good hip angles toward the defender. Will get his hands on first and attack with the initial punch. Uses his length to gain the initial advantage. Has a plan and will stick to it. Gets to the second level in a hurry as a run blocker. Used in space as a lead blocker often, showing good range and power on the move. Hustler that plays with a lot of desire. Way too much leaning and bending from the waist up. Gets caught off balance often. Moves like a baby deer, lacking the lower body power and stability. Ends up on the ground several times each game. Leaves himself vulnerable to arm-over moves. Does not have the sudden lateral burst on an island against a quick defender.
Seventh round/PFA. (A-NA, H-NA, BP-DNP, 10-DNP).
