Four-year starter, Parlier, CA. Three-time All-Mountain West, first team in 2022. Has played both spots and could project to either in the NFL with a slight bias toward the slot. His movement is sure and natural, creating crisp routes that get him open on all levels of the route tree. His toughness and versatile skill set can be used in a variety of ways, an ideal fit for the back end of a depth chart. The fourth all-time leading pass catcher in school history should make a smooth transition to the next level. Sudden change of direction creates separation and it will be an asset on third down. Strong, reliable hands that can get to balls away from his frame. Excellent coordination and body control. Competitiveness shows up as a blocker and with the ball. Will give an offense and special teams multiple options of usage. Plays light against contact. Needs to be more aggressive when going after the ball. Gets thrown off his point by physical coverage. Does not break enough tackles and struggled with ball security issues in 2021. Should be a quick-adjuster to NFL speed and suddenness, but will need to increase core strength if he wants to see consistent playing time.
2022 Stats: 83-1086, 13.1 ypr, 5 TD. OSR:24/46. 6th/7th round.
