Has the natural instincts and vision to gain hidden yards both inside and outside. Lacks the standout physical traits when it comes to size and speed, but he has proven to be a productive asset for an offense both as a rusher and receiver. He is a reliable pass catcher and moves with savvy, subtle quickness in small areas to create bigger runs than he should be able to obtain. Can be a solid number two or three back who is situationally dependent. Well-balanced runner who runs to his body type well. Naturally low to the ground with meaty thighs and thin ankles. Can absorb contact, stay upright, and move forward after contact. A tough runner for tacklers to square up. Plays with a never-quit attitude no matter the situation. Creates a lot based on effort alone. Quick, subtle footwork that is hard to always notice, but is always there. Uses that to avoid the meat of a hit consistently. Plus-receiver out of the backfield who gets to the ball away from his body. Strong hands and excellent coordination. Excellent ball security technique and results. Does not have the breakaway speed or plus-burst in the open field. Won’t push piles. Has a hard time escaping a crowd. Low level blocker that lacks enough length to get his hands on a pass rusher. Does not sustain and does not deliver a violent initial pop.
