Harris had high expectations heading into 2021 but a back surgery to remove a sack of fluid on a nerve near his spine impeded the preparation for the season. It took a while for him to get going but he ended the season strong, showing that his impressive 2020 was no fluke. An effective inside power runner who can do the dirty work. His footwork is quick enough to fit through creases unexpectedly and the pad level-plus-power will push defenders backward. His ability in space is limited and he will not be a big-play back. A nice complement to a running game looking for more power presence, but there are limitations that will prevent him from being a top guy on a depth chart. Stocky, fire-hydrant build with wide thighs. Packs a lot of muscle mass on a condensed frame that plays big. Thickness does not impede his ability to bend at the joints. Can lower his pad level with natural ease. A leverage-based runner who gets under defenders and pushes them backward. A fall-forward rusher who can find the extra yards. Understands angles and spacing. Will manipulate tacklers into positions where he can break their attempts. Contact balance is strong and steady. Slow to reach his top speed and has short, choppy steps in space. Can be caught from behind. Will lumber out of breaks, feet can look heavy. Success as an outside runner and receiver is hard to find.
