Two-year starter, Camp Hill, PA. Transfer from Penn State. First-team All Sun Belt selection in 2021. Played in five games before suffering season-ending injury in 2022. Possesses elite height and very long arms, with a muscular frame overall. He has played inline, but will translate best as a split out receiver. An exceptional athlete for his size. Displays notable burst off the line-of-scrimmage, and accelerates quickly with great foot speed utilizing long strides to make ground. Fluid hips help him change direction in space when running routes. Humongous size and arm length makes him a major mismatch versus defensive backs. Uses soft hands to haul in passes in his strike zone. Great ability to track the ball in the air, and will time his jump to catch the ball at its highest point. Solid body control to adjust around his frame and make catches away from his body. As a run blocker in space, displays great agility and balance to climb to the second and third level with quick feet. Cannot be relied upon to consistently win as a run blocker at the first level or in pass protection. He plays with high pad level which hinders his ability to win leverage as a run blocker. Fringe functional strength and physical toughness to create push at the line-of-scrimmage. He struggles to maintain leverage with second and third level defenders when climbing, especially when playing inline. Lacks twitch when stemming his route and will struggle to create separation versus press coverage. Needs to improve physicality at the catch point; will lose contested catches despite his massive frame.
2022 Stats: 12-144, 12.0 ypr, 2 TD. OSR:1/15. 4th/5th round.
