His 8224 career passing yards rank fourth on Georgia’s all-time list. His 78 career touchdown passes puts him in second place on the all-time Bulldog charts. His intangibles as a teammate, leader, and worker are off the charts. Those attributes held off the more athletic and strong-armed passers, Washington’s Jacob Eason and Ohio State’s Justin Fields, when they were enrolled at Georgia. He seems like a logical fit for a West Coast style passing attack. He is composed in the pocket and generally makes good decisions.
