Ourlads' Profile:

2019 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about DALTON RISNER: Kansas State, 6046 312 5.32. Fifth year senior and four year starter from Wiggins, CO. Has starting experience at center and right tackle. A three time first-team All Big 12 honoree and 2018 All America. Was the leader of the Kansas State offensive line for three years and leaves the program as arguably the top player at the position group in school history. He is an old school, punch-you-in-the-mouth type blocker that uses a lot of upper body and desire to get the job done. His farm-boy hands can stifle even the most powerful defenders but if he doesn’t clean up his footwork, he will struggle in pass protection. He got away with a lot in college that he simply will not in the NFL. His future is inside where some of those issues can be hidden and his ability to move people in the running game can be used more often. Country-boy body with natural thickness from head to toe. Simply looks bigger and longer than his opponents at all times and he plays like a schoolyard bully. Physical and mean with a lot of desire and hunger. Has long arms, big hands, and knows how to use them. Glues himself to his target. Neutralizes and controls well, especially in the running game. Can squeeze the life out of a defender when he is lined up correctly. Position versatility and intelligence goes a long way. Aware and will forecast the action, rarely caught off guard. A manufactured athlete that lacks the natural movement and flow as a pass blocker. Has a consistent tendency to bend at the waist and over reach, making him vulnerable and off-balanced. Needs more attention to detail as a pass blocker. OSR:24/39. Second/third round. (A-34, H-10 1/4, BP-23, 10-1.84).
