Ourlads' Profile:
2019 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about LIL'JORDAN HUMPHREY: Texas, 6035 210 4.77. Junior entry from Southlake, TX. Had 18 starts out of 36 played. A high school running back who made the transition to wide receiver in 2016. A raw prospect who has shown the ability to progress over his three seasons at Texas. From barely seeing the field in 2016 to Honorable Mention All Big 12 the past two seasons, Humphrey has proven to be more than a set of impressive tools. After finishing second in receptions in the conference, he still has a ways to go as a route runner but his ability to dominate the 50/50 balls while providing play extension post-catch, there is a lot to like for him down the road. Sky-high ceiling. NFL-ready frame with plenty of muscle mass and length. Functionally thick and big but still to a point where he can move like a receiver. Plays a physical brand as a pass catcher, ball carrier, and blocker. His size and strength can be overwhelming at times. High points the ball in traffic with long arms and big, strong hands. Adjusts his weight to balls away from his body and momentum. Tough for a lone defender to take down. Will break tackles and fall forward. Has long stride speed to get away from defenders in pursuit. Raw and rough around the edges when it comes to the receiver skill set, most notably as a route runner. Rigid and slow to react to defenders. Needs to do a better job getting off press coverage and avoiding contact. Pad level is too high in and out of breaks. 2018 stats: 86-1176, 13.7 ypr, 9 TD, 10-215 KOR, 21.5 avg, 0 TD. OSR:40/ 42. Sixth/seventh round. (A-32 3/4, H-9 1/2, VJ-33.5, SS-4.31).
