Ourlads' Profile:
2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about RACEY MCMATH: LSU, 6025 224 4.45. Six starts in 34 games, New Orleans, LA. Never really broke through to be a big time contributor or starter and was unfortunately down on the depth chart behind Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Terrace Marshall for most of his career; even in 2020 without Chase and Jefferson he missed half the season with a hamstring injury. Was a big time contributor on special teams during his career which could make him a solid late round pick as he can contribute immediately on special teams and as a depth wide receiver. Good size with length and bulk on his frame, has speed and quickness. Solid speed on routes and solid hands with nice body control. Strong and aggressive after the catch and good speed in open field. Severe lack of playing time and production in college as he was stuck behind some very talented players in a very crowded wide receiver room. A bit stiff and upright in his routes, not the quickest or sharpest out of his breaks, not much of a threat in intermediate and deep areas of field. Does not make many contested catches or catches in traffic despite his size. 2020 stats: 14-195, 13.9 ypr, 1 TD. Seventh round/PFA. (A-31 1/ 2, H-9 1/4, VJ-34, SS-4.40).
