Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about JAYDEN PEEVY:
Texas A&M, 6053 308 5.30. Two-year starter, Bellaire, TX. Was part of the rotation all five seasons. Contributed on special teams as well with multiple blocked field goals. His size and initial punch will make him an imposing inside presence against the run. He takes up a lot of space and understands the importance of role playing. Lacks variety and twitch, thus he may be a specialty-player only. The play speed and conditioning level are both lower tier, so he needs to be kept off the field in certain situations. Fits in well as a backup tackle and adds some presence on special teams. Rare size for the position with the kind of reach and wingspan that does not come around often. Uses his weapons well off the snap. Gets his hands on first and will give the initial jolt to the blocker. Can maintain two-gap integrity inside against the run. Will hold his ground and occupy multiple blockers. Has some extra juice in pursuit. Can make plays while half of his body is engaged with a blocker. Strong presence against ball carriers, stops them dead in their tracks. Tires easily. Just a two-down player at most and will become a liability if he is on the field too many consecutive snaps. Will stand up and give blockers a huge target to pursue. Lacks rush moves stemming from poor lateral twitch and reaction. One-trick pony.
