Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about JEREMIAH MOON:
Florida, 6045 249 4.76. Three-year starter, Hoover, AL. Lengthy prospect who moved to an off-the ball linebacker spot in 2021 after playing the edge his first three years. Solid key diagnose and initial movement. Fits inside gaps and flashes quick downhill reactions. Excellent fundamental tackling skill he can gather and square up tackles using his length to wrap and finish. Has solid agility for someone his size. Has enough speed to play from alley to alley in pursuit. As a former edge defender has blitz skill coming off the edge or inside. In limited coverage reps his length is what stands out. He can run the seam with a tight end and can shrink the throwing lane in flat coverage. Has flashed flat cover skill off-the ball outside the box. Still a work in progress as play action can give him trouble. Movements can be a little mechanical reacting to the throw. Shows some hesitation on run/pass reads and can get caught out of position. Tends to play high on blocks and catch the block rather than punch and separate. Injuries have been a factor in his development as he has missed time due to injuries in most of his seasons at Florida. Outstanding in kick coverage and projects as a developmental prospect who can contribute on special teams.
