Ourlads' Profile:
2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about NETANE MUTI: Fresno State, 6027 315 5.30. Three-year starter, Wahiawa, HI. Due to injuries he started a total of just 19 games over those three seasons. In 2017, his only full season completed, he finished honorable mention All Mountain West. His projection is very much a dart thrown into the dark. Has some quality tape displaying near-top notch hand power and has the NFL body to play either guard or center. However the multiple Achilles injuries in addition to the LisFranc injury that ended his 2019 after just three games took away a lot of his potential experience. Doesn’t have a lot to go on and there are significant concerns with his balance and body control. Late round gamble. Heavy, sticky hands that do damage right away. Has natural thickness throughout. Impressive lower body. Shows the capability of anchoring himself into the ground with good hand placement and lock-on. Can fire out of his stance and get movement against size and power. Feisty and strong, does his best work when his assignment starts right in front of him. Will re-engage seamlessly if he loses the initial hand position. Keeps his base wide. Heavy lower body movement that is most noticeable when he needs to go left or right. Lacks coordination and balance the further away he gets from the ball. Has a hard time sustaining against speed and quickness, especially if the initial punch isn’t there. The knee bend isn’t consistent, will get high which further decreases his body control. Stunts and counters trick him too often. Medical exclusion at Combine. Seventh round/ PFA. (A-31 3/4, H-10 5/8, BP-44, 10-DNP).
