Ourlads' Profile:
2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about KEITH TAYLOR: Washington, 6023 191 4.60. Two-year starter, Long Beach, CA. Tall lengthy corner with the size/speed combination NFL teams covet. Primarily played outside in 2020 but moved inside in some matchups. Has played press and off man along with Cover 2, 3, and quarters. Often aligned in press and was reactive in man cover and usually bailed in most zone situations. Only used a true pedal in off man as he usually broke into a lateral run in zone concepts. In press man was patient ignoring first move away from leverage. In press was quick on turn and run and could be physical using long arms to disrupt. Has speed to stay in phase, and if behind his length gives him an advantage to recover. In zone working off a bail he had a good concept of cushion and balancing multiple routes in zone. As a hard corner positioned in between the high low route he was difficult to throw over. Generally stayed over the top of vertical routes in deep outside zone coverage. Willing in run support he can separate from blocks and make plays on the line. Throws his body into tackles but often struggled to bend and gather. Missed in space at times as a result. In off man he has a somewhat segmented pedal and gave up leverage at the line at times. Some hip tightness inhibits him against double moves but his length and speed allowed him to recover for the most part. At times struggles to find the catch point in phase. Timing on ball reaction is inconsistent. He gets to some jump balls but rarely gets the turnover. Will fit in the right scheme as an outside corner. 2020 stats (4 games): 9 T, 1 PBU. Fourth/fifth round. (A-31, H-9 1/2, VJ-33.5, SS-4.27).
