Two-year starter. All-Pac 12 the past two seasons, first-team in 2023. All-America as a senior. Fuaga is a road grader who sends second and third level defenders flying. Puts defenders from all levels on the ground and moves them against their will whenever he wants to. He combines the top end power with light feet and a quick burst to win initially. His play strength and mentality finishes them off, notably in the running game. He is a credible weapon in the trenches with his ability to displace his man. Played right tackle his entire career at Oregon State and did not allow a single sack. His tool set may be better suited inside because the lack of length and natural bend can be an issue on the outside. Credibly projects to a starter level at both spots, however, in any kind of scheme. The ceiling will be higher at guard. Heavy hands with proper strike cohesion from his hips. Moves as one strong boulder and creates movement consistently. Drive blocker who can also get out in space and reach across a defender's face. Can mirror in pass protection with light, balanced footwork when his alignment is right. Shows multiple advanced techniques, does not play overly reliant on one tactic. Stays upright and peels off his man with ease. A comfortable mover. Does not always win to the edge against speed. Will have a hard time with low pad level rushers. Outside hand is often inaccurate, a significant issue at the next level. Will over-set and leave himself vulnerable to the counter move inside. Overshoots at the second level and struggles to adjust.
