2024 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about CAEDAN WALLACE:
Penn State | HT: 6047 | WT: 314 | 40 time: 5.15 | Arm: 3400 | Hand: 1034 | Wing: 8258
Four-year starter. All-Big 10 in 2023. Has played all but six of his snaps at right tackle. The former state champion shot putter brings tremendous size and an ascending skill set to the table. He improved a huge amount since allowing the third most pressures (35) in the Big 10 in 2021. Over the next two seasons combined, he essentially cut that number into a third. The body, experience, and production raise his floor enough to be considered a capable backup but one that has never played on the left side. If history is an indicator, however, this is a player that will grind his way and improve over time. Shows controlled, quick feet out of his stance with accurate hands. Will deliver a jolt to his man and stand him up. Power is not good enough to maintain ground against pro-caliber strength. Can slide his feet with his chest plate up. Smart and experienced to recognize complex pass rush packages. Bull-rush gives him problems. Needs to improve his presence upon contact in addition to taking better angles to make up for a slight athleticism shortcoming. Balance and bend in reaction-based situations is inconsistent.
OSR:16/50. Draft projection: 5th-7th round
