Oregon | HT: 6030 | WT: 283 | 40 time: 4.85 | Arm: 3314 | Hand: 0938 | Wing: 8078

Three year starter. First-team All-Pac 12 in 2023. Has great length and physical presence for the position. Versatile prospect has lined up all along the Oregon front including wide nine, five and three techniques. At home with his hand in the dirt or a two point stance. Has solid snap quickness and uses his length and power to stun and separate from blocks on the edge. Effective edge setter he gets ball side leverage and has lateral agility to make plays on the perimeter. Shows solid pass rush skills using a variety of moves including a bull rush, push-pull, and an arm over move using his length to clear the tackle. Shows acceleration off the line and has enough bend to turn the corner and chase. When playing inside, his quickness at the snap is a problem for most guards in one-on-one situations. Has provided interior pass rush and has enough power to collapse the pocket. As an interior run defender, if aligned inside can get upright on blocks and lose power. Can be slow to recognize block pressure and he’s vulnerable to down blocks and double teams. Inconsistent holding the point as a result. Can get tied up with blocks and slow to shed. Somewhat of a tweener as he lacks ideal bulk for the interior and the closing burst of an elite edge rusher. Some teams may look at him as a 4-3 or 3-4 end that can play inside in the nickel. Others might want him to put on some weight for a better anchor and play inside. Either way, he’s an above average prospect with versatility.

2023 Stats: 25 T, 6.5 TFL, 5 sacks, 9 PBU, 7 QBH. OSR:29/41. Draft projection: 2nd/3rd round
