South Dakota State | HT: 6042 | WT: 309 | 40 time: 5.08 | Arm: 3378 | Hand: 1000 | Wing: 8158
Four-year starter. All-MVFC all four seasons, first-team honors in 2023 and 2022. FCS All-America the past two years. Played over 3,300 snaps in college, nearly all at left guard. His game is built on sheer power and aggression, but his athletic testing is elite across the board. He played his best football on tape against his best competition, opening the door to the idea that he can turn into something at the next level. While there are subtle but important movement issues in his game, much of his weak points can be corrected via coaching. He projects to a future sixth lineman, possibly even a starter if the skill set can catch up to the rare set of tools. Above average length and athleticism. Gets out of his stance in a hurry and excels on drive blocks. Will stay attached with a strong latch and active feet. Can bend at the right places. Flashes of dominance are all over his tape. Can hang at the second level against speed. Rugged style. Had 57-straight starts in college. Stiffness shows up with lateral movement. Does not adjust well to sudden change of direction. Over-commits to initial read and is often found looking at the ground. As experienced as it gets but still lacks consistency with techniques. Needs better angles and overall footwork.
OSR:10/50. Draft projection: 4th/5th round
