Junior entry, one-year starter. His game is built on power and the ability to gain yards after contact. His downhill style is an ideal fit for a gap-heavy blocking scheme where he can shoot for a lane and adjust at the second level. His footwork and short area burst are sneaky-strong traits that will be a weapon for the right system. Has lead-back potential and will be, at the very least, a strong short yardage back that will score a lot of touchdowns. Built like a truck and will batter through traffic like one too. Enforcer with the ball that inflicts damage on the defenders. Between the tackles machine with excellent rushing mechanics. Pounds the feet after contact and will get every yard available. Can sink his hips and adjust weight at the final moment. Gets over the ankle-divers with hurdles routinely. Heavy mover that is able to get those feet off the ground without warning. Excellent feel for both his blockers and multiple levels of the defense. Knows where to go and when to go. Understands patience and aggression. Has caught every pass thrown his way and can handle blocking duties. Improved ball handling keeps it high and tight through traffic. Was not a frequent big play back. Very few runs went for long, explosive gains. Shows tightness in his hips as an outside runner. May need to steer clear of zone runs, as he lacks fluidity below the waist. Was never a featured pass catcher, averaged less than one catch per game over career.
